During a cruise, a merchant ship suffered the wrath of Umi Bozu.
Umi Bozu is a Yokai, a creature from japanese folklore.
It's big dark human looking shape, with visible eyes. When an Umi Bozu appears, he will ask the crew of a ship to give him barrels. Then he will fufill these barrels with waters until the ship sink. It's a dangerous creature, that is feared by sailors.
In this illustration, I drew a very angered creature who is about to punch a ship. We can see that he has some remains from others ships he attacked.
I am a french traditional artist. I mostly draw dark fantasy, monsters, ghost and creepy illustration.
