I have been a goldsmith for years, and every time someone asks me how I got started, I have to go through the same explanation that I couldn't find something specific that I wanted, made it myself and then did so for the past 10 years. Now I have this painting of a molten metal God giving me the gift of goldsmithing, and it's so much easier to explain.
